Currently, I am in the second half of my FORTIES! I began competing in NPC Bikini Fitness Competitions in 2021 at the age of 44! I have been in the National circuit and competed in 3 National Masters NPC Competitions racking up 3 MEDALS! I'm so proud of my accomplishments both mentally and physically! I'm not done as I still have goals to reach in my fitness journey!


BACKSTORY I have always had an interest in fitness. It began when I was a teenager. My first workout was a Buns of Steel video on VHS tape! I could not walk up the stairs at my school for 3 days! I did not have anyone introduce me to any type of fitness or healthy lifestyle. I grew up in a southern home in South Carolina and we enjoyed traditional Southern cooking! My Momma worked 3 jobs and did not have the time or energy for fitness. My Dad was always fit, but he worked out at his work gym so I never saw his training, only the results. In the back of my mind, I always wanted to reach the level of fit physiques of the ladies in Oxygen magazine.  This was my first and only real exposure to women in fitness when I was young.  I was so in awe and inspired by the physiques of these fitness ladies and it seemed like such an untouchable reality for me.  That was when I was young; late teens and early twenties.  I spent the next decade reading, researching, and learning about fitness, the muscular system, and nutrition. Fast forward to me in 2020 at 43yrs old.  I decided I wanted to go for it!  I wanted to compete in a fitness competition!  I was still thinking this was far-fetched and impossible.  I was still struggling through Fitness classes at the Y. 


I finally opened up the idea to my family (husband and Teens) that I wanted to compete in a fitness competition.  They were excited about the idea and encouraged me to go for it!  My husband; Marc, surprised me as he became a huge part of my training and prep.  He has been by my side in the gym all the way.   Although, this is an individual sport that begins within your own mind I 100% realize that I could have never have accomplished this without his commitment to this journey.  Together we have both grown mentally, as a couple, and physically.  It has pushed us to the max in so many aspects of life, but every bit of it has been worth it for the growth we have experienced as individuals. It was difficult to get to this point! I have grown so much during this transformation.

  • HOW DO I RECEIVE THE PROGRAM?

    The program is available through my website on the members only section after you have purchased. Go to the services page, choose a plan, make payment and enter all your personal details and I will start putting together your personalized program! 

  • IS THIS A SUBSCRIPTION BASED PROGRAM?

    Yes, the reason I have chose to do this is so you can continue your progress as maintenance is so important. The program is available as a monthly subscription. This means the programs are constantly updated with workouts and meals tailored just for you depending on the program of your choosing plus continuous support from myself and my team. The beauty of this is that you are not tied in and you can cancel at anytime.

  • IS THE PROGRAM AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE?

    Yes! It’s imperative to me that anyone in the world can access this program.

  • CAN I DO THE PLAN AT HOME?

    I'll tailor the plan for you to complete this in your own home if you wish! All you need is a set of weights/dumbbells. You would need to select home only on the set up form.

  • HOW DO I CANCEL?

    To cancel your subscription you must email myself with at least 7 days notice so that you are not charged again. Please note that when you cancel all plans and support will be removed from your account.

    The workout is entirely tailored to you and your goals. So if you are new to the gym I’ve got your back with your very own personalized program. Choose weights that are light for your fitness levels and gradually work your way up.

  • IS EACH MONTH THE SAME?

    No, each month is different. This will involve an increase weight, change of exercises and changes in your meal plan that is constantly updated. It’s all about progress and maintenance.

MY TRANSFORMATION

My turning point began in January 2020.  Just before the whole COVID-19 lockdown.  I had dreams of where my life would be at this time and after a rough year or so of my husband being ill and taking care of him I was exhausted, lazy, and comforted by wine and food.  I did not recognize the woman I saw in the mirror. "Where had I gone?"  It was time for me to get uncomfortable and start making changes.  I first of all quit drinking any alcohol and started struggling through fitness classes at the YMCA.  I was still looking at the stranger in the wall mirror as I "flopped" around trying to keep up with the class. 


I learned really quickly the discipline I needed in order to commit to making myself healthier was to "Show Up!"  If I could just get there then I would have to commit to the class.  This consistency was the catalyst that helped me start to whittle away at my extra weight.  I was so uncomfortable in my body.  I couldn't breathe as easy as I once could. I couldn't squat down easily.  I couldn't cut my toe nails without being uncomfortable.  After quitting drinking and consistently showing up to classes 4 or 6 days per week I was down over 20lbs in 4 mos.  I felt good, but I still wasn't quite myself.  I just kept on plugging along.  I'll tell you my secret was "just to show up!"  I had a few times I showed up and sat in my car not feeling it.  Guess what? After plundering on my phone for a while, I drove AWAY! I disappointed myself, because I know I ONLY have ‘that” moment in my day to make a difference.  Once that day has passed so has my opportunity to make a difference in me, for me!  I didn't give up, instead I showed up again the next day and did the dang thing!  Consistency in showing up is key and requires mental discipline. 


If you ask me what got the strongest during my training I would say 100% my mental discipline.  It has given me power in knowing if I set my mind to something I can accomplish it.  The Me today would not say, "I can't."  I will figure out a way and work towards the end goal.  It may take time, pain, frustration, failure, but in the end I'll meet my goal and conquer the challenges that arise along the way. My biggest message I want to say is....it takes time to make a change and the first step to that change begins in your mind.  Challenge your mental strength! 


 Marc and I want to help others see the success they desire in their fitness and nutrition goals. Our goal is and always will be to help people live healthier lives. Don't use your age as an excuse. You only have so much time.  Once it has passed it's gone.  You can never get it back.  Your time is now!
